Employee Hiring and Terminations Hiring
Our specialists provide important services when you are hiring or terminating employees.
We can help prepare job descriptions and interview questionnaires; we will even help with interviewing, although we make no hiring recommendations.
We conduct background checks, arrange drug screening when indicated, and verify immigration status (I-9 forms).
Termination
When employee termination is required for any reason, we help you make sure that all required termination procedures are followed to minimize the risk of legal or regulatory action. Please notify us as soon as you think termination is a possibility (see Employee Behavior).
We can provide a checklist for you or your representative to follow to make sure all the bases are covered and all company property is returned: vehicle, cell phone, computer, keys, etc.
We will notify the employee of termination if it is an uncomfortable situation or if you just want us to handle it on your behalf.
We respond to all Unemployment Insurance Claims.
We provide all these hiring and termination services under our basic agreement; there is no additional charge.
