Getting started with Employee Professionals Once you've accepted our service agreement, our streamlined, efficient systems make it easy to make the transition for you and for your employees. Depending on the size of your workforce, the entire process can be accomplished in as little as a few days. Here are the typical steps in the process.
Proposal
We collect your payroll information, along with your Workers' Comp experience modification rate (EMR) and your SUTA rate. We then present a detailed proposal that outlines our services and includes your total cost.
Working Agreement
When you accept our proposal, we both sign a working agreement that clearly details our respective responsibilities and the cost. This working agreement is open-ended and can be cancelled at any time; our security is our performance and your satisfaction.
Employee orientation and enrollment
We meet with your employees to introduce ourselves, to explain our procedures and benefits and to answer all their questions or concerns. We strive to eliminate any misunderstanding or confusion right up front.
We then work with your employees to gather the required enrollment information, including medical authorization, employment eligibility verification (I-9), and W-4 withholding form, and direct deposit authorization.
Employee handbook
Each employee receives a handbook of employee policies and procedures.
