Workers' Compensation Claims We handle every aspect of worker's compensation claims so you don't have to spend time and resources on this time-consuming process. The typical claim involves the following steps:
- You notify us of an injury incident.
- We will assist in obtaining medical attention, if required.
- We perform or arrange for immediate drug testing of the subject.
- We conduct an investigation, interviewing the subject, subject's supervisor and any witnesses. We also review hospital and physician reports.
- We prepare and submit all paperwork to the insurance underwriter.
- We work with the insurance adjustor who adjudicates the claim.
- We monitor the situation until the subject returns to work.
- If the subject has been cleared to return to work by the physician, but claims to be unable to do so, we arrange for a second opinion and/or tests (e.g. an MRI).
- If the subject is cleared but still refuses to return to the job, we offer a light-duty program or, if the subject is clearly malingering, we terminate him or her on your behalf.
